I realize that no matter how much I hate ISE, the 15 months of waiting was nothing in comparison to what Dalmatian went through. Reading Janggeun’s cafe post made me realize a lot of things…the fact that 3 of the boys cried watching their own MV release yesterday…not even a debut MV but a comeback MV…and then Daniel in today’s interview saying how he felt like it was his last chance to prove himself and how he was able to endure the struggles of the hiatus thanks to the other boys…I really hate sounding like Dalmatian is the only group that went through struggles and they deserve everything but to me, they really do. Watching them grow from rapping and singing about becoming a star and “wishing” to transitioning into proving themselves and their music in their first mini album, then becoming that star they wished for 1.5 years ago…and it’s the biggest blessing to see that Mong, who can never be there to support them publicly, still changes his Twitter bio with their comeback song to do the little bit he can. Then there’s Janggeun who jumped into Double Sidekick to make a name for himself to provide his asset to Dalmatian later on…this is the second comeback and this feels no different from their debut. So much that went on and continually these boys thrived to keep going…this is why they are my number one. So admirable for not giving up and making the most of what they have, moving dorms because their company was going bankrupt and working to make themselves better in music and themselves when there was no confirmation that they’d be coming back, but they did because they just…did. Sigh, what am I going to do with you boys…
